Stephen Hillenburg initially conceived SpongeBob in 1984, while he was studying marine biology. When SpongeBob SquarePants aired in 1999, it had gained a significant enough number of viewers to be considered popular in the ratings, reaching worldwide popularity by 2000.
Click on the coloring page of your choice, then to print – select File > Print in your browser or right click on picture and choose “print picture” or left click on the picture of the printer on the image toolbar 
To save – select File > Save as... in your browser or right click on the picture and choose “save picture as...” or left click on the disk on the image toolbar.
